I know that when you are pregnant or have a newborn, there are times you just need that extra care, support, advice and reassurance. As a Midwife with 23 years experience in NHS maternity care - 15 years at a large tertiary teaching hospital and 8 years at a birth centre, supporting a homebirth team - I am here to provide individualised, unhurried, supportive, evidence-based care and advice throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth, postnatal and early parenting journey. I can help you find the answers you may be looking for and support you and your family in exploring the best options for your pregnancy, birth and postnatal care. I offer the time and opportunity you may feel is limited or unavailable with your NHS Midwife or Obstetrician.

My care enhances your NHS maternity care to ensure that all of your needs are met, and you and your family enjoy a positive and safe experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. I offer individual appointments or bespoke care packages, at a convenient time in the comfort of your own home.

Enhanced Antenatal Care

Whether it is a one-off visit tailored to your individual needs, or a package of additional antenatal appointments, I provide a level of care and support that is right for you.

What enhanced antenatal care offers:

  • Additional pregnancy check-ups for you and your baby’s wellbeing

  • High quality, women centred antenatal education

  • More time with an expert Midwife – the opportunity to ask questions and explore all of your choices

  • Support and advice with decision making in pregnancy

  • Guidance with writing birth preferences

Package of 5 antenatal appointments - £850

Enhanced Postnatal Care

Whether it is a one-off visit tailored to your and your baby’s individual needs, or a bespoke package of postnatal visits, I provide a level of care and support that is right for you.

What enhanced postnatal care offers:

  • Additional postnatal check-ups for you and your baby’s wellbeing

  • Physical and emotional care

  • More time with an expert Midwife – the opportunity to ask questions, seek reassurance and explore all of your choices

  • High quality education on the fourth trimester

  • Guidance on newborn care and behaviours

  • Support and advice with decision making

  • Feeding support

  • Signposting to other services as required

Individual appointment - £180. All individual appointments include 7 days phone support (8a.m-6p.m).

Bespoke postnatal care packages include an antenatal appointment to receive information and plan the postnatal period. If wanted, a colostrum harvesting kit and a ‘Mothers & others Guide to Pregnancy, Feeding and Parenting’ will be gifted to you at this appointment.

Postnatal Care Package 1 - £1200. Regular postnatal visits over the first 2 weeks with phone support (8a.m-6p.m).

Postnatal Care Package 2 - £2000. Regular postnatal visits over the first 4 weeks with phone support (8a.m-6p.m).
